Kathleen McAuley has been a tour de force in Post Production!  Starting as a post PA, humbly working her way up to Editor, she is the epitome of determination and hard work.  An avid collaborator, she has often worked with first time directors to create compelling content.

She says, "This year has been rough, and it really tested our metal, but we're strong and resilient.  I've been fortunate enough to book multiple jobs this year, just completing "Can You Hear the Beat:  The Lisa Lisa Story" following the journey of the 90's icon, and first Latina crossover artist, Lisa Velez from Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam. We need to see more stories like this:  strong, diverse women who manage to thrive in a business that is hostile to their existence.  I'd love to see continued authentic representation behind the scenes, because we add SO much to these stories.  I'd also like to get the opportunity to play outside of this wheelhouse.  Continuing to grow and learn is SO important to me.  I welcome the challenge!"

Kathleen has worked on critically acclaimed programming, such as All American Homecoming by NK Carroll, BMF:  Black Mafia Family by 50 Cent, and Twenties by Lena Waithe.  She has also Post Produced a number of Independent projects, bringing them to completion well within budget.  Kathleen is an asset to any Post Production team.
